How to get to EarthFest?

MBTA MapWe strongly encourage concertgoers to use public transportation to get to EarthFest.  This year, entrance to EarthFest will be through security checkpoints and concertgoers should allow extra time for entrance into the event. Event access will be near the Community Boathouse and the Dartmouth Street Footbridge.   There will be no access to the event via the Fiedler Footbridge at the corner of Arlington St. and Beacon Street.  In lieu of this, festival attendees can use the Charles Street Footbridge or the Dartmouth Street Footbridge.

By Public Transportation: Take any MBTA Red Line train to the Charles Street/MGH station. Take the footbridge over Storrow Drive to the Charles River side and go West along Storrow Drive. The Hatch Shell is a short walk from here.

Individuals are also encourage to ride their bikes to EarthFest.  Mass Bike will set up a Bike Valet near the west entrance to the Festival, near the Dartmouth Street footbridge

Where can I park?

Is there handicapped parking on Storrow Drive?

No, there will not be handicapped parking on Storrow Drive.  However, there is a handicapped-only drop-off site on Storrow Drive, near the Community Boat House.  Handicapped individuals can be dropped off here.  Cars will then need to be parked off site.

To facilitate entrance into the festival this year, backpacks, large bags, coolers and blankets will not be allowed. Small bags and beach towels are fine.  All bags will be subject to a discretionary search.

When do the gates open?

Can I bring my own food and water?

To facilitate entrance into the festival this year, large bags and coolers will not be allowed into the festival area. Food and sealed water bottles are allowed into the festival.
