Collective Soul, an American rock band, burst onto the scene in 1993 with the rock anthem Shine, off their release Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, which went on to achieve double-platinum status. Their second album, the self-titled Collective Soul, was released in 1995 and spawned three number one singles, including December, The World I Know and Where the River Flows. Fast-forward to 2009 and the band, now comprised of Ed Roland, Dean Roland, Will Turpin, Joel Kosche, and Cheney Brannon, released their 8th studio and second self-titled album on Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records. The band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009.


Gin Blossoms, an alternative rock band, was formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. The band’s first studio album, New Miserable Experience, included hits such as Hey Jealousy, which reached #25 on Billboards Hot 100 and Found out About You, which climbed to the top spot on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks. Their second album Congratulations I’m Sorry was released in 1996 before the band broke up in 1997. The band reunited in 2002, released a DVD, resumed touring, and released a fourth album Major Lodge Victory on August 8, 2006. The Gin Blossoms released a live album, Live in Concert, on May 15, 2009. This album contains live recordings of the band's hits as well as recent singles such as Learning the Hard Way and Long Time Gone.


Crash Kings, an American rock trio formed in Los Angeles in 2006, is often compared to Ben Folds or the White Stripes. The band features Boston brothers Tony Belivea on vocals and keyboards, Mike Beliveau on bass and drummer Jason Morris. The band’s self-titled debut album was produced by Dave Sardy and released in May 2009 on Custard/ Universal Motown and the band’s first single Mountain Man reached number 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart on March 28, 2919. The band has toured with artists such as Chris Cornell, Stone Temple Pilots, David Cook, Mason Jennings and others.


Marcy Playground, an American alternative rock band named for the Marcy Open grade school in Minneapolis, attended by lead singer John Wozniak. Their self-titled platinum album was released in 1997and the single Sex and Candy spent 15 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. Marcy Playground's fourth album, Leaving Wonderland…in a fit of rage, was released on July 7, 2009. Current members of the band include Wozniak on lead vocals and guitar, Dylan Keefe on bass and Shlomi Lavie on drums.

Raised on the South Shore Jackson Wetherbee has been writing and playing music since his sophmore year of high school. Currently 21, and recording his debut album "Welcome Home", Jackson has begun hitting the Boston scene hard.
