Boston, MA – Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. 50 years later, the singers of the Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) are carrying it forward for future generations. On Monday, January 21, in partnership with New England Conservatory, the BCC will join special guest performers Cindy Blackman-Santana and Melinda Doolittle for “Content of Character” in Dr. King’s honor, on his national birthday holiday.
This concert is the embodiment of Dr. King’s dream: that young people of all colors can transcend racial barriers to share their gifts and talents. Join the singers at Jordan Hall, New England Conservatory, 30 Gainsborough Street in Boston where they will perform two tribute concerts on Monday, January 21st at 2 P.M.
