Streight Angular

Boy/Girl vox, genre jumping songs with hints of social commentary and Pop!
It plays a variety of some of the best music of all time!
StreightAngular is a local Boston rock band on Polk Records who play genre jumping songs with hints of social commentary that explode in DayGlo color soundscapes. They have recently been nominated for "Best New Act" in the 2010 Boston Phoenix Music Poll. Following in the footsteps of other Boston greats, namely the Pixies, StreightAngular have boy/girl vocals, have song titles like "Are You Ever Satisfied?" and "On the Washing Machine" and make music with enough broad appeal that any listener no matter what age, sex, or race is sure to enjoy and identify with. Their latest project is the very freeing album titled "After and Before" that can be found on itunes and at local record stores.
