Band bio/info: Formed in Palmer Massachusetts in the Autumn of 2009, The Blue Veins quickly roused interest in the local Rock n’ Roll/Indie scene with their seamless blend of vintage and modern rock influences, and their ability to appeal to a wide pallete of musical tastes. Starting out as a cover band, they built up a large catalogue of material and became a hit in the local bar scene. With the addition of lead guitarist Jamieson Goodwin in late 2010, they solidified their current lineup including Jacob Watson on Guitar/Vocals, Bryan Forbes on Bass, and Matt Skowyra on Drums. They intend to shift primarily to original songs with the release of their first album, which they began working on in 2011. The album was recorded and mixed in their own studio, Underground Sound. The chemistry between this group of musicians really shows in their lively performances, and it’s quite clear that music is what they love. Collectively they have nearly fifty years of playing experience, members of touring bands, teach music lessons, and have studied recording arts. The Blue Veins can be found at many area clubs and venues, and are always open to playing new places.
